AFTER CARE

1. On The Day Of Tattooing

.. Bandages
Although this may vary relative to tattoo size, session length and placement, all bandages or wraps applied to a finished tattoo should be removed only after a minimum of 2-3 hours.

If blood or fluid cause difficulty in removal, please do not use force, but rather run the bandage under water, easing it off).

.. Cleaning
Clean the tattooed area gently with warm water, removing any bloody and ink residue.

It is okay to wash the tattooed area with soap, but please refrain from vigorous towel drying.

.. Drying
After cleaning the tattoo, gently dab away any moisture.

Following this, please allow the tattooed area to dry uncovered.

.. Hygiene
For the first 3-4 days after tattooing, clean the tattooed area 2-3 times daily with water.

Please try to keep the area in a clean, hygienic state.

2. Bathing

It is okay to bathe on the day of tattooing, however, please refrain from keeping the tattooed area submerged for extended periods and from vigorous towel drying.

3. Alcohol

Drinking alcohol increases blood flow and with this the risk of bleeding and ink seepage.

For this reason, please minimize alcohol consumption on the day of tattooing.

4. Sunbathing

Although it takes around 2-4 weeks for scabbing to heal and skin to form over the tattooed area, this varies between individuals.

For this period please refrain from using saunas, swimming pools and from bathing in the sea.
